1.)     BASKETBALL LEAGUE LOCATION MANAGER: (part-time)

Flight Action Sports’ basketball program is growing.   We are looking for individuals with the right skills and experience to successfully oversee our basketball league locations.

Responsibilities:

(i.)              Procure and maintain sites for play

(ii.)             Assist FAS with the development of its leagues including participation as a representative of FAS in negotiations of court locations, referees, and statisticians.

(iii.)           Create weekly schedules for the above mentioned locations in a timely manner and submitted to FAS as soon as possible but no later than the following timeframe.  The full regular season schedule should be posted no later than Week Three of the regular season.

(iv.)           Maintain game statistics for the above mentioned locations in a timely manner.  Statistics should be submitted to be posted no later than 12 hours after the scheduled games were played.

(v.)             Collect team and free agent league registration fees on site at court location.  League fees should be submitted to FAS no later than 24 hours of collection.  All team league fees should be completely collected during the first three weeks of the regular season.

(vi.)           Collect all referee/statistician/scoreboard operator fees on site at court locations and pay all referees/statisticians for each game worked.

(vii.)          Submit all location registration logs on a weekly basis to FAS ownership.

(viii.)        Provide all team waiver/roster paperwork to FAS ownership no later than game five of the regular season.

(ix.)          Coordinate referees and statisticians for each game in the above mentioned locations.

(x.)            Maintain any and all FAS equipment.

Qualifications/Requirements:

1.)    Marketing/Advertising experience a must.

2.)    Must be creative, outgoing, and passionate about sports

3.)    Career and goal-oriented, self-motivated and results-driven

4.)    Positive attitude, up for a challenge and enthusiastic

5.)    College degree (or equivalent work experience)

6.)    Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

2.)     SPONSORSHIP AND MARKETING COORDINATOR: (part-time)

Flight Action Sports is growing and are seeking a qualified individual with great enthusiasm who knows the San Diego market and whose main goal is to ‘get the word out’ about our thriving flag football and basketball leagues in San Diego County.  You will be assisting FAS with marketing and branding efforts and assist with new sponsorship sales to help continue to grow our leagues and assist with our motto of “taking sports to new heights.”  Responsibilities will also include increasing social media awareness and followers. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable marketing and sales experience while working in a fun and exciting work environment!

Qualifications/Requirements:

1.)    Must have in-depth experience with social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc). We need to create brand awareness and grow our social media presence.<br>

2.)     Marketing/Advertising experience a must.

3.)    Must be creative, outgoing, and passionate about sports

4.)    Career and goal-oriented, self-motivated and results-driven

5.)    Positive attitude, up for a challenge and enthusiastic

6.)    College degree (or equivalent work experience)

8.)-Be prepared with a step by step plan of what you would do to market and promote Flight Action Sports.<br>

9.)    Applicants must have a flexible schedule, including weekdays and weekends

We are looking for this individual to be asset to our growing Flight Action Sport leagues by marketing our brand to San Diego locals, businesses – both small and large, and promoting upcoming flag football, basketball and volleyball leagues as much as possible.

• Hourly pay (negotiable depending on experience).
