“State of the League Address”

Escondido Winter 2016.

Good evening captains,

The season kicked off on Jan 26th with preseason games. Our playoffs & bowl games will be May 10th. We have 16 teams in the league, 8 in D1 and 8 in D2. Each team will face there divisional opponents twice equaling a 14 game regular season. Teams will not play out of division this season. The top 4 teamsfrom each division will make the playoffs. The teams that do not make the playoffs will qualify for “Bowl Games”. They will be the same night as the playoffs. The full season schedule (and post season) is complete and will be posted Wednesday Feb 25th. Until then, my commitment to you is to have your upcoming games posted on Thursdays.

Last week our field 2 pda crapped out midway thru the last game. I was able to get game scores from my officials and post to the website. Unfortunately the pda has the stats for all the field 2 games. It’s being sent to a specialist to try and recover the data. I apologize for the inconvenience. I have a brand new pdaready to go for Tuesday.

If you still have a balance on league fees, the last day to pay is February 23rd. You can pay online at any time or I will still be collecting at the fields until that day.

Please remind your players to clean up their trash after their games. Thank you in advance.
