Hello again FAS athletes and fans! It’s been a little while since our last blog, but we are happy to be back this week with exciting announcements and upcoming league events.
It’s been a great season thus far. I know we’ve had fun here at Flight Action Sports watching you all battle it out on the field, and we hope you have as well! We’ve seen a ton of great games played this Summer season and look forward to more as the final few games play out to their dramatic conclusions.
Sweat has been spilled. Battles have been fought. And many great victories have been won! But unfortunately, as with every year, the season can’t continue forever. The end is drawing near, whether we want it to or not.
But do not despair! The end of the Summer season isn’t all bad. After all, it heralds the approach of that wonderful time we’ve all been waiting for. That special time of year when all bets are off and fame is within reach of any who dare to claim it: Playoff season!
That’s right, it’s been a great season up to this point, but now it’s time to kick it into high gear and give it everything you’ve got. Even if you’ve nothing left to give, now’s the time to step it up and dig deep. Now is your chance to prove your team has got what it takes to earn their place in the annals of Flight Action Sports history!
As always, this season’s playoffs will be conducted in a series of games in which the top teams from each league and division will square off for a shot at the title of Flight Action Sports Summer Season 2014 Champion. Think you’ve got what it takes? Prove it!
And playoffs aren’t the only big event coming up. Oh no, FAS athletes and fans, you didn’t think we’d let you off that easily, did you? On August 24th FAS will be hosting it’s big end-of-season Counties Championship Tournament in Poway! Sure you’ve dominated on the field. Sure you’ve scored against all odds time and time again. But now you get the chance to do it in front of all your competitors. Now’s your shot to ****** victory from the grasping hands of your opponent and dominate on the grand stage. Are you up to the task?
There’s only one way to find out for sure. We’ll see you at our Poway field on August 24th for the momentous conclusion to an already momentous season. Be there!
And finally, FAS athletes and fans, it’s just about time to begin thinking about the future. Did you have fun this season? Did you enjoy dominating your opponents on the field of battle? Well then we’re going to see you back for the coming Fall season, right? Despite whatever victories you won this summer, the games continue this fall with our Fall 2014 Flag Football Season.
As always we’ll offer leagues in various locations all around San Diego County, from Poway to Balboa Stadium, Chula Vista to Escondido. All divisions will be open as well, from Division IV Autopilot to Division III Glider, Division II Mach 2, and if you’re up to the challenge, Division I Supersonic. Think you’ve got what it takes? Sign ups are already open for Flag Football and Basketball, and actual gameplay is currently projected to begin the week of September 14th for the flag football season and September 28th for the Fall basketball season. So don’t wait too long, FAS athletes and fans. With playoffs and the Counties Championship Tournament the Summer season is soon set to draw to a close, but the Fall 2014 Season is following close on its heels.
