Announcing the launch of the Flight Action Sports Official Blog
Hello Flight Action athletes and fans! Welcome to the new FlightActionSports.com blog! Now, I imagine some of you are thinking: “Hey Flight Action Sports, you’re already one of the top San Diego Flag Football, Basketball, and Volleyball leagues, and you have active pages on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, why do you need a blog too?” Well, great question! We’re launching this blog for a number of reasons. Foremost, we want to do our best to make sure our athletes and fans are always up-to-date. So from now on you can expect this twice weekly blog to list all the important events going on with Flag Football, Basketball, Volleyball, and Flight Action Sports as a whole.
Maybe there’s a new season ready to launch? You’ll read about it here. Maybe we’re starting a new league in an area near you? You’ll read about it here. Maybe we’ve got some high intensity action shots from last night’s close game? You guessed it, you’ll read about it here! As well, we also look forward to not just informing, but writing about our athletes and fans. In the future you can expect blog posts where we interview top performing teams, or write about the Top 10 Best Team Names in Flight Action Sports history (from intimidating to downright hilarious, there are some great ones, trust us). A New Season
It’s that time of year again Flight Action Sports athletes and fans, time to kick off the Flag Football season! Registration for all areas is still open, but time is growing short. As always, we are offering four divisions:
Division IV, Autopilot: This is for all the beginning players out there. Inexperienced but still looking to have some fun? This is the division for you!
Division III, Glider: A bit more competitive than Division IV, Division III is for players who would describe themselves as having “some experience.”
Division II, Mach 2: For intermediate players, this skilled division is designed for teams who want to have fun on a more competitive level.
Division I, Supersonic: Okay, we’re not messing around anymore. Division I is the cream of the crop for the elite and highly skilled players only. Think you got what is takes? Prove it!
So do you have a great group of athletes looking to play some recreational or competitive football or basketball in their spare time? Team signs up can be found here. Don’t have enough players for a team, or just want to sign yourself up? Not a problem, Free Agent Sign-ups can be found here also. As well, for any additional questions, please feel free to visit our FAQ page to learn more.
Preseason Games A Big Success
Well, it’s finally here! Sort of. The full season hasn’t started just quite yet, but recently our teams in the Balboa Stadium Sunday Night Summer League met for their first preseason games! All the divisions were represented as players from the division IV beginners to the division I elite played their hardest and left it all on the field. A big congratulations to all of the winners, and here’s to next week for the teams that needed a bit more warm up before showing their stuff! We were glad to have so many teams and players show up and look forward to seeing all of you and more this coming season. Sunday Night Summer Football is almost back! If you’re not excited yet, what are you waiting for?!
Well thanks for reading everyone, and be sure to check back every week for more updates, information, and fascinating articles about Flight Action Sports and its awesome players and fans! Thanks again, and until next time, take your sports to new heights!
