It’s been a long, action-packed summer here at Flight Action Sports. We know you’ve been busy, whether dominating on the field, powering through work and everyday life, or soaking in those last moments of summer. Just because the summer league season is over, doesn’t mean the fun has to be! It brings us great pleasure to share some exciting news with our FAS friends and family as the fall season is just around the corner.
Flag football was the first sport Flight Action Sports offered in our inaugural season. Since then our FAS flag football has grown into one of the premier San Diego leagues with over 100 teams and more than 1,200 players across the county. We’re still amazed by what it has grown to become!
But we’re proud to say, fans and athletes, we have no intention of resting on our laurels.
We believe in always striving to be better. Constant growth allows us to offer more to you, our athletes and fans, while also expanding to reach a larger audience in San Diego County. With that in mind, we are pleased to formally announce the formation of two new co-ed leagues!
Along with usual flag football sign ups this Fall, players will now be able to register for co-ed leagues. Registration is not limited to one league only, so fret not, you can still play with the guys and have fun on a co-ed team!
Registration is being held online at http://www.flightactionsports.com/signup/. Season play will begin the week of September 15th, so be sure to sign up soon! Locations offered include:
Pacific Beach – Saturdays
Carlsbad – Sundays
Poway – Monday nights
Scripps Ranch – Wednesday nights
Chula Vista – Wednesday nights
Along with co-ed flag football, we’re also pleased to announce the formation of a co-ed volleyball league! Sign ups begin in early January and will be open to anyone and everyone – all levels of experience are welcome! Expected locations include:
Pacific Beach – Saturday afternoons
Pacific Beach – Tuesday nights
San Diego H.S. (near downtown) – Sunday nights
East County / El Cajon – Thursday nights
This is the first time Flight Action Sports has offered a volleyball league of any kind and we here are all very excited to watch it become a powerful force in San Diego County. We know that with your support we can grow this into the premier co-ed Volleyball league! Registration will become available online as we draw closer to the launch date.
Your questions and inquiries have proved there is definitely a strong interest in opening these leagues, and we are excited to oblige and provide you with a top-notch league full of amenities, such as player and team stats, that you deserve. After all, Flight Action Sports is here for its athletes. Without you all, we wouldn’t be able to do what we love for a living.

As some of you may know, Flight Action Sports is celebrating a birthday soon. This September marks five years since the creation of FAS! Five years of fast-paced, high energy Flight Action flag football! Five years of three-point making, slam dunk scoring Flight Action basketball! And five years of having the privilege of hosting sport leagues we love with the best fans and athletes in the county!
Thank you to everyone who has helped make Flight Action Sports everything it is today! We could not have done it without each and every one of you, our athletes and fans. We consider you family. We love what we do each and every day: providing you all with premier flag football, basketball, and volleyball in San Diego County!
This five year anniversary is a time of reflection for us, but also a time to look forward. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished but we have no intention of stopping there. Flight Action Sports is looking well into the future. And everything we see, tells us the future is bright.
Flight Action Sports started as the dream of one man. Now it has become so much more. So join us, won’t you? As we boldly stride forward into the unknown, excited and ready to continue offering the best in competitive and co-ed sport leagues to everyone in the San Diego County area.
